Delivery / Pick Up and Returns

Pick Up:

All orders are available for pick up. Pick up orders can be collected warehouse at Unit 5, 3 William Pickering Drive, Albany, Auckland at no extra charge.

You will receive a second email when your order is ready for pick up, this is usually within 24 hours for in stock items, or as soon as your item arrives for backorder items (often 3 - 7 days).

Nationwide New Zealand Shipping:

Shipping is available nationwide and internationally. We ship with NZ Post and New Zealand Couriers and our average delivery time for orders in stock is 1 - 5 days, and 2 - 10 days for orders that are available with supplier.

Special Order products, such as those on backorder, have varying ETAs. Please contact us if you want to check before ordering. Some parts (that come from Europe, America, or other overseas locations) can take a little while.

International Orders:

We offer shipping to international locations but not all countries and products are supported. Generally, if you are an international customer and you can select your country and address at checkout, it means we can ship that product to you. Please get in touch with us if you want further information.

Returns:

If your order has not been picked up or shipped yet, you can cancel your order for a FULL REFUND.

If you have already received a part and it is incorrect or you no longer need it, you must let us know within 14 days of receiving your part.

NOTE FOR ALL RETURNS: You must notify us before sending a part back and get approval for returns. Parts that are sent back without notifying us in advance may not be approved for refund or return and you will be responsible for return shipping to get this part back to you.

We do not accept returns on electrical products, but on all other parts can offer exchange / refund. The parts must not be used, damaged, or opened (on parts in packaging) and may be subject to restocking fees of up to 20% (depending on the part).

If you have received a faulty or damaged product, we will always offer a replacement or refund depending on availability at not cost to you.

Fisher & Paykel Ice & Water Display/Dispenser PCB (e.g. 814857p) – Important wiring check before ordering

Overview
On many Fisher & Paykel fridges with an ice-and-water door display, faults that look like a bad display board are often caused by a broken wire in the door-top hinge harness. Before you order or replace the display/dispense PCB, inspect and test the wiring loom in the top of the door (usually the right-hand door on French-door and side-by-side models).

Typical symptoms
• Dead or intermittent ice/water display
• Water or ice won’t dispense, or keypad doesn’t respond
• Backlight flickers or resets when opening/closing the door
• Dispenser works if you hold the door in a certain position
• Random beeps or door-ajar alarm when the door is moving

Why this happens
The cable bundle that runs through the top hinge flexes every time the door opens. Over time, one or more conductors can fracture inside the insulation. On many models the signal and low-voltage feed to the display PCB use blue and/or orange wires; if any of these crack, the main control board’s signals never reach the display, so the dispenser appears faulty even though the PCB is fine.

Where to check
• Top hinge area of the dispensing door (commonly the right door)
• Under the plastic hinge cover: you’ll see a harness with multiple blue/orange wires among others

Quick inspection

  1. Disconnect power to the fridge.

  2. Remove the hinge cover carefully.

  3. Gently flex each wire near the bend point. Look for split insulation, copper showing, or a wire that feels stretchy or breaks when tugged lightly.

  4. If insulation looks intact, still suspect internal breaks.

Basic electrical test (recommended)
Tools: multimeter with continuity function, two fine probes or needle pins.

  1. With power still off, unplug the harness connectors so you can isolate the door loom.

  2. Identify each blue/orange conductor in the door loom.

  3. Check continuity end-to-end while flexing the bend section. Any open circuit or intermittent reading indicates a broken conductor inside the cable.

  4. If you have service data, you can also confirm presence of the display supply voltage from the cabinet side with power on (technician only).

What to fix first
• If a wire is broken: replace the door harness for a lasting repair. Temporary splices with heat-shrink butt connectors can prove the diagnosis but may not survive long in a moving hinge.
• Only if the harness tests good and supply/signal voltages are correct at the display connector should you proceed with the display PCB (e.g. 814857p).

Important notes
• Electronics are typically non-returnable once installed or programmed. Correct diagnosis protects your budget.
• Power must be isolated before removing covers or unplugging connectors.
• Moisture in the hinge area can accelerate corrosion; ensure seals and covers are refitted correctly after repair.
